Here in the artists-section I will add information of different country stars one after the other.
Mainly I will concentrate on singers who are my favorites of yesterday or today. And there are many cause my love for country music includes almost all styles like hillbillie, old-time, Western, Western Swing, honky tonk, bluegrass, Cajun, Tex-Mex etc. with a little focus on traditional / neo-traditional country.
Each feature will cover at least basic data of biography and discography. Most of this information will be based on different encyclopedias (in English and/or German language) and other third party sources. I only have a few auto-biographies in my bookcase. Partly I got the info directly by the artist.
The catalog numbers in the discographies may differ due to the country of release (America, Germany, Japan, Australia, or wherever). Only major compilations will be included, and only as long as they were really relevant.
Overall I can't guarantee the correctness of the complete information. Wherever I found any discrepancies I tried to come up with the proper solution.
